Ruhika Misra is from a small, tranquil town in the Bay Area, which is why she moved to NYC! Growing up in an Indian immigrant household with a STEM driven younger brother (who she loves very much), she mastered the art of animated storytelling from a young age- How else was she to keep the attention on herself amongst the sea of resume enhanced Indian kids at the family gatherings? I mean seriously, she HAD to find some way to stay relevant.
Keeping her affinity for finding humor in the most unexpected places, Ruhika is determined to keep connection at the heart of every character she plays. She always aims to share truthful POC narratives that explore the complexities of identity, emotion, and the universal human experience, particularly for young women of color.
When she isn’t annoying her roommate with her new sketch ideas, she can be found hanging out with her best friends, making a weird facial expression, or watching The Office.
